The Pull

I am 26. He is 36. Could he be the one? It's been one month and we've been through more together than couples who have been together for six months. He has two gorgeous children, he plays guitar in a heavy rock band, he's in a motorcycle club, he has a great job, and he wants me. And only me. He has a horrific past who has managed to come this far in life and be successful. He's 5 inches shorter than me and we could not be more different. Some things we find coincidental and cannot believe it.

He sent me a message on facebook after realizing we share a mutual friend on 4-28-10. We chatted online for several hours on 4-30-10. We had our first date on 5-3-10, and by 5-5-10 we were officially an item. We could not keep our hands off each other and did not want to leave each other's company. We couldn't wait for the next time. On 5-7-10, we were back in each other's arms and our second date lasted all weekend. I could not have asked for more. We got drunk, went on motorcycle rides, met friends, got drunk some more, and we never stopped. That following weekend he let me meet his kids. His daughter is 6 and his son is 2. We went to a water park and played family. It was so new and strange to me, but I felt so honored that he was letting me, a stranger, into his children's life so soon. And it was fun. I wanted more. The following weekend he did not have the kids and it was my birthday. He had a bottle of Crown Royal, a cake, and a card. We had an amazing night of music and drinking. It lasted all weekend. This past weekend was Memorial Day weekend and I was introduced to the motorcycle club. I learned the rules that women have to learn and I played the part. He said I did perfect. I wanted nothing more than for him to say I did perfect so I passed that test. We did a lot of drinking and had more fun. Ever since I've met him I have had to hightail it out of there on Monday mornings with a hangover to try to make it to work by 1pm. My Mondays will never be the same. This weekend we have the kids, and here we go on another ride...
